One of the original Brand Thinkers on this Island, Pat has spent the last 28 years extolling the virtues of branding as an essential commercial device that improves every company’s bottom-line. A native of New York City, he brought this passion to Dublin City and now it travels with him wherever he goes!

A respected industry expert, Pat brings his unique perspective on branding to many different industries from FMCG, to Finance to Government Agencies. He also finds time each week to battle out topical brand issues on RTÉ and Newstalk, contribute to the broadsheets, speak at conferences and events both at home, in Europe and the US. Pat is a regular speaker for the international organisation Design Management Institute (DMI). Most recently, Pat was invited to speak with them and facilitate workshops in both Helsinki and Madrid. At home in Dublin Pat regularly engages with the Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII) – in recent times as an adjudicator for the All Ireland Marketing Awards and a facilitator at the annual CMO Conference in the Google Foundry venue. In addition, he has spoken on behalf of Bord Bia at their conferences and Brand Forum.

Offering expert advice to non-profit organisations is also a genuine passion. Pat has been involved in several initiatives over the years. He has been a Director of the People in Need Trust since its inception, the Chairman of Dundrum’s Mill Theatre (not for profit) and has undertaken advisory roles for Áras an Uachtaráin and Inclusion Ireland to name but a few.
